This place is a perfect stay all around. Here's why: - clean and spacious room. The king standard I stayed in has a long corridor away from the hall before opening up to the room. It is good for drowning out noise. - comfy bed with a lounge area away from the bed. - large flat screen TV - standing shower only with powerful water pressure - hospitable staff - free hot breakfast with more than your standard choices of breakfast fare - long pool hours with salt water instead of chlorine - outdoor patio where you can eat your breakfast instead of being confined to inside - free hotel shuttle to and from the airport and local mall This hotel is close to the airport. It's good for accommodations if you are having to stay overnight or if you wanted in North Charleston. It is also very close to the Tanger Outlet Mall.

Over all pretty good hotel, nice fitness area and the free breakfast was ok. Staff were very nice but room seemed somewhat dirty and not cleaned enough.

New build, everything is modern from the color scheme to the fixtures and furniture. This Holiday Inn Express was a treat to stay at.

I liked that when I checked in there was a sign on the desk about what beers they had for sale, which I took as as good sign. The breakfast was good even that they did not have a wafflebot, since pancakes suck. They did have a pancakebot, but not did not get to close to it in event a wafflebot showed up to do battle with it. After a hot and humid time at the ball game the pool was very refreshing. The water was blue and very swim able. A nice touch was the adjustable reading lights on each side of the bed.

Stayed here for a week and a half for a business trip. The good: -Convenient location for airport access, and close by stores, shopping, restaurants, etc. Easy drive to downtown or Mt. Pleasant. -Fairly modern and new, relatively clean, decent free breakfast The bad: -Housekeeping not so great. My room had a used dried washcloth hanging from the shower curtain when I checked in. -Housekeeping also left my door open which I discovered upon returning to my room hours later. That day they also rolled my used bath towels up and put them on the shelf like they were new (they were still damp). -Walls do not dampen sound. There was a loud family of four staying next door to me for half of my trip and I could hear every thing. -The laundry service used by the hotel (not in house) dry cleaned one of my garments even though the ticket and the garment tag clearly said do not dry clean. I will say the management seemed like they cared each time I mentioned an issue. Just too many issues for my stay.

Stayed here on a work trip, 11 nights so a very extended stay. Hotel is clean, rooms are clean and the breakfast is pretty good. The staff was great, pleasant and helpful. Close to interstates, shopping and restraints within walking distance. They have a serviceable pool and hot tub, and a small workout area. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel, very clean, updated friendly, staff, they had biscuits and gravy, yogurt, eggs etc for the complimentary breakfast. didn't give 4 stars because water always took about 6 mins to get hot for showers.

Let's first start off with there were no rooms ready they just kept telling us to come back in an hour so finally we gave up headed to the beach and came back at 6pm. We got our 2 rooms we had reserved and OMG they smelled bad, then in one room there was left over half eaten ice cream, half drunk beers, and cigarette burns all over everything, then to top it all off there was busted glass on the carpet and my daughter cut up her foot. In the 2nd room the quilt on top of the blanket had a huge rip in it, along with cigarette burns, then a chair that looked like someone took a dump on it and then smeared it, and a condom wrapper on the headboard. It was so great, all they would do is switch our rooms and yes they may have been cleaner but still burns all over everything. Way to start our stay here in this city.

This place is great! I usually don't make reviews, but I couldn't help myself because this place is very clean and modern. Very cool little television set up they took up all of your cables such as your iPod and HDMI cables from your gadgets and gizmos. love it!
